First IAU 50 Km African Championship – GIS published. On December 7th the first IAU 50 km African Championship will take place in Sagamu, Nigeria. On July 27th the 2nd IAU 100 km Americas Championships will take place on the coast of Bertioga in Sao Paulo, Brazil. South America has never held an international ultra-distance championship so there is great excitement in the area.

2019 IAU Trail World Championship – Athletes List. On June 8th 2019 the IAU Trail World Championship will take place in Mirandha do Corvo, Portugal. All the IAU Member Federations have been invited; registration completed.
Combined Trail and Mountain World Championship from 2021
Combined Trail and Mountain World Championship from 2021. Year 2021 will be a time with major change in the Trail and Mountain World Championship. It will be the inauguration of the IAAF World Trail and Mountain Running Championships, a result of a unique partnership between the IAAF, ITRA and WMRA. The IAU is playing important role in this partnership as well.
