2025 - 2029 Championships Table (June 2025)

2025:
So far this year we had WMTRC in September in Canfranc, Spain. In October we had IAU 24H World Championships in Albi, France as well as IAU Congress and Elections that took place on Friday, October 17th just before the 2025 IAU 24H World Championships. Next we will have IAU 100 km Asia and Oceania Championships in Bangkok, Thailand. We will closed the year with IAU 50 km World Championships in New Delhi, India.

2024:
This year, we hosted three IAU Championships. We kicked off with two 24-hour continental championships. First the IAU 24H Asia and Oceania Championship held in Canberra, Australia and second 24H Americas Championship in Mar Del Plata, Argentina. We finished the year with the 100 km World Championship in Bangaluru, India. You can find details about those 3 events here:

2023:
We started with Global Solidarity Weekend in March and move in the second part of 2023 to Austria where we had 2023 World Trail and Mountain Championships in Innsbruck - Stubai, followed by two championships in India, the 2023 IAU 100 km Asia and Oceania and 2023 IAU 50 km World Championships. We closed the year with 2023 IAU 24H World Championships in Taipei.

2022:

The 2022 was busy year for all of us. We started all in March with IAU Global Solidarity Weekend and from July till November we had six successful IAU Championships and World Mountain and Trail Championships.

2021:
The IAU Congress took place on May 22nd 2021. Due to current pandemic situation for the first time it was held as virtual meeting with over 60 participants. After the congress the 2021 election of the IAU Executive Council and Area Representatives for 2021-2025 period took place. The voting process was done online in a period of 5 consecutive days. The voting was done in line with the IAU Constitution and each ballot remained open for 24h time frame. The 2021 election results were published on May 27th 2021 and are provided below.
