Press conference in Brasov for 2019 IAU 50 km World Championship and informal discussion in Timisoara before S24H race. It was a busy weekend in Romania. Nadeem Khan, the President of IAU participated in two events in Romania. First on September 21st as speaker during an informal discussion before S24H race in Timisoara and on the following day, September 22nd, he took part of the press conference in Brasov.

2018 IAU Career Awards The IAU Career award has been established since 2014 to recognize for tireless ultrarunning enthusiasts who have worked long and hard to increase the profile of national and international ultrarunning. This prestigious honour recognizes the hard work and dedication in developing and promoting the sport over the years. We are committed to honouring the individuals who have paved the way of the sport for the future. It is our great pleasure to announce that we awarded two individuals with the IAU Career Award. The Award went to Donald Alexander Ritchie [GBR] (passed away in June 2018) and Jürgen Schoch [GER]. The awards will be presented at the earliest convenience.

The Winner of the 2018 IAU Athlete of the Year. It is our pleasure to announce that after completion of the voting the 2018 Winners of the IAU Athlete of the Year are Camille Herron (USA) and Nao Kazami (JPN). 2018 was the year of the World Record holder and world best performances and they were recognized by ultrarunning family.
