Lupatotissima 2020 - FIDAL National and Master 24H Championship in Bussolengo (Verona) on September 19th - 20th 2020
We have two important news on the Lupatotissima 2020 FIDAL 24H Championship on Spetember 19th - 20th 2020.
On Monday 27 July, Mombocar Club decided to share with the Italian Athletics Federation the possibility of nominating Lupatotissima to host the Italian 24-hour 2020 championship, replacing the city of Biella, which had renounced a few weeks ago. To be able to set up the Lupatotissima in the best possible way of safety, we decided to organize only the 24-hour Ultramarathon race. There will therefore be no Relays 24-12-6 x 1 hour. We have also renounced asking for the reintroduction of the 6-hour and 12-hour Ultramarathon races, traditionally scheduled in recent years and excluded for 2020 when the Lupatotissima was originally supposed to host the 24-hour European Championship, canceled at the beginning of June.
We have changed the place of the race, from San Giovanni Lupatoto to Bussolengo, a town in the province of Verona.
There will be three rankings of the 24 hours, one dedicated to the Italian Fidal National Championship, one dedicated to the two Masters categories (A and B) of the Italian Fidal Championship and one dedicated to the OPEN race with international and Italian Runcard.
