The IAU Council have taken the decision to follow the World Athletics (WA) direction and have added Belarus to the sanctioned list of nations for their involvement in the current conflict in Ukraine. We understand this is hard for the athletes. However, at this time we feel this is the necessary given the current circumstances. The IAU continues to strive to establish and maintain friendly and loyal cooperation between the ultradistance community.
