2024 IAU Global Solidarity Weekend Open to the Public
Join us on March 23rd – 24th for the 5th edition of the IAU Virtual Global Solidarity Weekend. The Global Solidarity event continues to inspire and motivate our community, marking an important milestone in the first half of the year. Recognizing the evolving landscape and goals of runners, especially as races have fully resumed, we are thrilled to announce that this year, our event will be open to the public. There will be no registration, and anyone who shares our passion for running and global solidarity is welcome to take part.

2024 IAU Global Solidarity Weekend
Initially conceived in 2020 in response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent event cancellations, the Global Solidarity Weekend has grown into a symbol of unity and strength within the ultrarunning community. This event has served as a platform for runners to come together, bridging geographical gaps and nurturing a spirit of solidarity. We are excited to continue this tradition in a new format and extend an open invitation to all individuals who are eager to join us in celebrating unity, camaraderie, and the joy of running during the 2024 IAU Global Solidarity Weekend.
