The IAU Executive council agreed to accept the Croatian bid for the IAU 100K World Championships 2018.
There was a very positive inspection report and the application covered the key benefits - excellent infrastructure with accommodation and race site fully covered in the Spa and a proposed 10K loop along the local roads which will be closed to traffic
The race and accommodation will be based in the Sveti Life Class Martin Spa north of Zagreb, website : www.spa-sport.hr
The proposed date is September 8th 2018 but can still change to the weekend before or after. Race Direction will be Pavel Vlahek and AK Skijeme with Croatian Athletic Federation.
