Press conference for the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships 2023
13 September, the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships 2023 (WMTRC 2023) were presented to the Media. It will take place in Innsbruck and Stubai, which will make Tyrol the international centre for mountain and trail running. The press conference held at Villa Blanka in Innsbruck.

2019 Trail World Championship announcement
2019 Trail World Championship announcement. IAU and ITRA are very pleased to announce that the 2019 Edition of the Trail World Championships will be held at Mirandha do Corvo in Portugal on June 8th 2019. It will be hosted by the Trilhos dos Abutres as the LOC with the Portuguese Athletic Federation. The National teams will be housed in Coimbra not far from the event site.
Member Federations
IAU Membership is available to any National Athletic Federation World Athletics Member or to a National Ultrarunning Association, recognised by the World Athletics Member and authorised by the World Athletics Member to become an IAU Member.

The list of IAU world best performances has been updated and a document has been added which has been updated and a document has been added which details the rationale for combing all IAU WBP and WABPs ( road,track and indoor) into one list.

A reminder to all athletes and race organisers that for your athletic performances in ultra races to be recognised for the IAU performance rankings, the race requires an IAU label.
