As we look ahead to the IAU 100Km World Championships in Ames, A Coruna, Spain, on Sunday, 20th September 2026, we’re pleased to share the official entry list for this year’s event.
A total of 44 federations have entered 248 athletes, bringing together a strong and diverse field from across the globe. The entry list includes 147 men (59.04%) and 102 women (40.96%), highlighting the depth and breadth of international ultrarunning talent set to compete for world championship honours.
With athletes representing 44 federations, the championships will showcase the continued growth and strength of the 100Km distance at the highest level of international competition.
The World Masters 100Km Championships will also be incorporated into this event, bringing together masters athletes from around the world to compete alongside the main championship field. The World Masters 100Km start list will be published separately in the coming days.
In the coming days and weeks, we’ll also share further updates as we move towards race weekend, including a Teams Manual with schedule reminders and on-site information to support athletes, teams, officials and supporters in their final preparations.
