IAU President Nadeem Khan will moderate an upcoming World Athletics webinar exploring the growth, challenges and opportunities facing the running industry in emerging markets.
The webinar, “Insights from Emerging Markets: Fresh Perspectives, New Opportunities,” is being held in collaboration with Mass World Participation and will take place on Wednesday, 9th September.
Nadeem will feature and moderate in the session “Running Through Change: Adaptability Leading to Transformation in the Middle East”, which will explore a region where investment and ambition are driving rapid change and requiring event organisers to continually adapt, innovate and build resilience.
He will be joined in the discussion by Ahmed Almajed, Managing Partner of Suffix Sports Management; Lina El Kurd, General Manager of Run Jordan; and Nezar Altuwaijri, CEO & Founder of Race Arabia.
The session will provide an opportunity to discuss the changing running landscape in the Middle East and the continued development of participation and events across the region.
The wider Mass World Participation Athletics webinar will bring together experts from a range of emerging markets to examine new opportunities and developments within the global running community.
