We are pleased to announce that Mar del Plata, Argentina, will host the 2027 IAU 100 km
Americas Championships on 10th April 2027.
The Championships will take place at the Justo Ernesto Román Athletics Stadium, bringing
together national teams and some of the leading ultrarunners from across the Americas for
one of the continent’s major ultradistance events.
Mar del Plata previously welcomed international IAU competition in 2023 and 2024 and will
once again become a meeting point for the ultrarunning community across the Americas.
The 2027 Championships will provide another important opportunity to strengthen the
development of the 100 km discipline and ultrarunning throughout the region, bringing athletes, teams and federations together in Argentina.
