Lithuania, team results from 2021 IAU 6H Virtual Global Solidarity Weekend

We are very delighted to see how many runners participated in our IAU Virtual Global Solidarity Weekend over the last weekend of March. We experienced great support around the world, from many Athletes, Team Managers and we witnessed great solidarity around the world.

We would like to take this opportunity and thank you all for participating in our second event. This is not over yet. We are starting a series of publication to share with you what happed and how great success this weekend was for us. We are delighted to see such a great response from our Member Federations across the globe.

We are starting with Lithuania with two well-known runners, Aleksandr and Raminta. They both did a great job considering cold weather during the weekend in Lithuania.

Aleksandr Sorokin 80,53 km

The weather gave us a little surprise, it was just below zero Celsius and a lot of snow on the way so it was fun and cold.
