It is our pleasure to welcome the Kuwait Athletics Federation as the newest Member Federation of the International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU).
All required documentation has now been completed and approved, officially confirming Kuwait's membership of the IAU.
It is outstanding to see the growth of ultrarunning within the Gulf countries in the Middle East. Kuwait has recently organized some amazing marathons and Kuwait Athletics Association becoming members of the IAU is a clear indication of the popularity of ultrarunning in the region. We look forward to working with the Federation in navigating future participation and growth.
