The IAU Records Committee has announced significant updates to IAU World Record (WR), World Best Performance (WBP), World Best Age Performances (WABP), and Continental Best Performances (CBP) as of December 19, 2023. In this update, a total of seven women and seven men have set new records. Specifically, there is one new Women IAU 24H World Records set by Miho Nakata (JPN) 270.363 km, one Men IAU 6D World Best Performance set by Matthieu Bonne (BEL) 1045.519 km, two Continental Best Performances both at 24h for men and women, and 12 World Best Age Performances recognized. This update reflects the latest achievements in ultrarunning, showcasing remarkable performances from athletes around the globe. Congratulation to all athletes.
