IAU 6H Virtual Global Solidarity Run Slovenia
We are pleased to share results for Slovenia. Congratulations and thank you for participating in the Global Event.
The International Association of Ultra-Runners (IAU) organized a global 6-hour virtual solidarity run, which was also attended by the Slovenian team. A total of 34 men’s and 33 women’s teams from all over the world competed, representing almost 500 runners. Slovenian colors were represented by 12 men and 5 women who ran in the vicinity of the Ljubljana Zoo. Luka Videtič scored the most 78.77 kilometers from the Slovenian Team and Neža Mravlje, who ran 70.03 kilometers, among the women. The IAU opted for such an event because virtually all international competitions on their calendar were canceled due to the COVID-19 virus.
It was the best event and motivation for Slovenian ultrarunners to get together again, have some fun and run their first international virtual run.
