Heyday Road (165.961,72m)
165,961 km
The “HEYDAY ROAD” (“Road of Acme”) is a sporting event with a historical background, which aims to directly capture the interest of the global road community, by uniting Sparta and Olympia, two internationally known historical sites.
The Peloponnese, the cradle of history and the scene of historical and cultural events that have shaped world civilization, takes a major step by acquiring a road event that unites two of its most internationally recognizable sites, Sparta and Olympia.
The “Heyday Road – “Road of Acme” project aims to highlight how the Athletic Ideal was literally born (and celebrate it effectively), and at the same time serve as a personal growth for each participating athlete.
It is about recreating the original experience at all levels.
The road, crossing the Peloponnese, will connect the 160 km (100 miles) between Sparta and ancient Olympia.
The start date of the race is May 31, 2025.
The Heyday Road program includes 2 races, for which you can register:
Ultramarathon Sparta-Ancient Olympia (165.9 km)
Ultramarathon Sparta to Megalopolis (72.8 km)
All runners can receive assistance from an officially registered support team only at specially designated Check Points.
There is a luggage storage/check
