3rd IAU Virtual Global Solidarity Weekend 19th – 20th March 2022
We had dedicated the 3rd weekend in March to be the IAU Global Solidarity Weekend. This is in recognition of the difficult times that the ultrarunning community, athletes and the global community went through the pandemic.
This 6 Hour virtual event has been well-supported in the first two years. We are looking forward to having some outstanding representation from all of you again this year. The event will take place on the weekend of March 19-20th.
The 2022 IAU Virtual Global Solidarity Weekend will be a great opportunity for us to connect. Last 2 years were very challenging and our virtual weekend has had a great response.
Ever since the pandemic the IAU Global Solidarity Run has become an avenue for us to check up on the global ultrarunning community and renew friendships that we have missed out on since 2019. This year, like in previous editions, we will have the Presidents Club and the IAU Council team, joining the many federations around the globe embarking on this 6 Hour run. I invite you and your federations to participate in this global event!
