The IAU Executive Council is in position to start the bidding procedure for the IAU Championships for the period from 2026 until 2028. We are also taking the opportunity advocate for remaining open spots for the Championships in 2025.
Federations are invited to work with Race Organisers and potential LOCs to send in any expressions of interest (EOI) for any IAU Championships that are open for bids. Any EOI should list the championships being bid for and possible dates to hold the event, previous race organisation experience proposed course, accommodation and travel proposals and IAU Member Federation approval.
Please note below date for the EOI and full bid application.
- Bids open for EOI: January 17th 2024 - March 17th 2024.
- Submit EOI to championships@iau-ultramarathon.org
- Full bidding documentation will be sent to those submitting EOIs by March 25th 2024
- Full Application should be received: March 26th 2024 - May 15th 2024.
