To the IAU Member Federations
Dear General Secretary,
We have great pleasure in enclosing the invitation to the 2025 IAU & WMA 24H World Championships. These will take place in Albi, France on 18th to 19th October 2025. The General Information Sheet (see file above) gives you comprehensive information about the accommodation, travel and the course for the championships. Memebr Federation also received the Preliminary Entry Form ( PEF) which needs returning to Hilary Walker and the French Federation by 31st July (midnight) with the details of the numbers of athletes, travel and accommodation data. The Final Entry Form (FEF) must be returned to us by 1st September (midnight) 2025. Here you will provide the relevant details for each athlete and final accommodation confirmation.
We also take the opportunity to provide you with early notice of the IAU Electoral Congress 2025 which will take place on 17th October 2025. National Delegates (1 vote per Federation) can either be present in Albi or “online”. We will be sending further details to all Federations before 17th July 2025 which will include the requirements for registration and the details for federations to propose candidates from their country for the IAU Council and Area Federations. All positions are up for election.
