2024 IAU 24H Asia and Oceania Championships announcement

We are very pleased to announce that the 2024 IAU 24-hour Asia and Oceania Championships were granted to Canberra, Australia. The Championships will take place during April 2024, and they will be organized by AURA (Australian Ultra Runners Association) in partnership with the LOC. The championship will be held on the track at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS).

Canberra is the capital city of Australia. Founded following the federation of the colonies of Australia as the seat of government for the new nation, it is Australia's largest inland city and the eighth-largest city overall. It is situated inland between the cities of Sydney and Melbourne, within the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) which is surrounded by New South Wales (NSW).

Canberra offers a great diversity of attractions and experiences all within close proximity to accommodation and transport. Canberra has something to appeal to the curious, adventurous, foodie or explorer within us all and in 2024 will host all teams taking part of IAU 24HR Asia and Oceania Championships.

The IAU and the LOC welcome you to participate in these Championships! We are convinced that the experienced LOC together with the beauty of the city of Canberra are a great combination for hosting the IAU 24H Asia and Oceania Championships.  You all will leave with long-lasting memories of the event and surroundings.
