After a tour through the streets of Curinga, the race winds along provincial mountain roads, until reaching the Fossa del Lupo and Monte Contessa at around 1,000 m above sea level. From the 18th km, after a dirt stretch of about 3 km, the race continues entirely downhill, passing Curinga again, until reaching the charming town of Acconia, with its Roman baths. After the 45th km the race will take place in a 1km circuit around Piazza S. Giovanni to be repeated 5 times.The athletes who participate in the 8h, after the 45th km, will continue the race on the same 1km circuit until they reach the 8th hour.The arrival is expected in Piazza San Giovanni, Acconia di Curinga. In Curinga there is a thousand-year-old plane tree which is found in a very particular position: overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, it protrudes over a small stream. From the height of its majesty, this "guardian" seems to lovingly watch over the forest.
