Feedback from the team members were all hugely positive-several had to endure very hot conditions so did not achieve the distances they wanted to, but they were all proud to represent New Zealand and loved being part of this famous global challenge.
The athletes pass on their congratulations to all the other athletes from all over the world and to the IAU for establishing and running this event. They cant wait until the next challenge and many thanks for the opportunity

A great training weekend finishing today with running 6 hours (representing NZ) over tough terrain & heat on the trail and mountain the course up and down the mountain and around covering 50.90 km. I focused more on elevation (rather than distance), & training down hill too, as my next races are all mountain & trail based

I’m doing it this year - not entirely sure where I’ll run yet but will be laps somewhere around Cambridge on Sunday
