2022 IAU 6H Global Virtual Solidarity Weekend Germany

The runners from Germany use the IAU Global Solidaruty Weekend in a targeted manner to prepare for the upcoming German ultramarathon championships in April and May. As part of a successful training camp in Hanover covered below distances around a lake (Marschsee).

Women

  • Christiane Neidiger          69,89 km
  • Julia Jezek                           69,89 km
  • Katrin Gottschalk              66,05 km
  • Anne Stephan                    64,19 km

Katrin ran a great lap with 45 k around Hannover and finished with a Lap around the lake. Alex, Martin, Christiane, Julia and Anne ran on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The aim of the training was to run into the night, from sun and wind, into the dark with no wind, without changing clothes.

The 423.81 km of the German team are to be understood as a sign of solidarity that brings us together in times of pain, in moments of pain and in events of current political and ideological divergences around the world.
