On Saturday, September 17th – Sunday, September 18th we witnessed one of the greatest 24H event in history. The 2022 IAU 24H European Championships took place in Verona Italy and from today we have new Champions. Patrycja Bereznowska from Poland and Aleksandr Sorokin from Lithuania are the European Champions. Patrycja completed 256,250 km and Aleksandr Sorokin set new IAU World Records (requires ratification) with 319,614 km.

The second place in the women competition went to Stephanie Gicquele from France with 253,580 km and third place to Malgorzata Pazda-Pozorska from Poland with 251,806 km. In men competition the second place went to Andrzej Piotrowski from Poland with 301,858 km and third to Marco Visintini from Italy with 288,437 km.

In the team competition Poland went for double and won both gold medals, 754,821 km for women and 825,525 km for men. In women team competition France took second with 731,727 km and Germany third with 719,582 km. In men competition second place went to Lithuania with 817,915 km and third to Spain with 800,016 km.

This was one of a time event. We never had that great results.
