2019 IAU Trail World Championship � race report

2019 IAU Trail World Championship – race repor. On June 8th 2019 the IAU Trail World Championship took place in Mirandha do Corvo, Portugal. Athletes from 53 nations compete on beautiful but difficult 44.2 km trail course (2 120 m of elevation gain and 1 970 of elevation loss). Technical terrain as well as steep climbs and challenging descents, all this was waiting for runners.



Jonathan Albon (GBR) and Blandine L´Hirondel (FRA), respectively won in 3:35:34 and 4:06:15. On the team competition, the French dominated the Championships and took gold for both Men and Women standing.
