Luis Hernando (ESP) and Caroline Chaverot (FRA) won the 2016 Trail World Championships held in Geres, Portugal. Hernando ran 8:20:16 and Chaevrot ran a time of 9:39:40.
Nicholas Martin (FRA) and Sylvain Court (FRA) finsihed in the silver and bronze medal spot respectively. Martin running 8:30:06 and Court running 8:30:39.
Azares Salmones (ESP) ran 9:45:01 to grab silver in the women´s division and Ragna Debats (NED) got bronze with a time of 9:47:38.
