Rochotte was a constant presence at IAU World Championships covering the event from any and every angle possible. His articles were always fair and balanced which highlighted the athletes for the efforts they put on the course and also on how these events progressed the sport on a global scale.
Rochotte also sat on the IAU Career Committee as a representative from Europe. He was a very active member of the committee.
There is no doubt that Rochotte will be missed by the global ultrarunning community. We, at the IAU extend our deepest condolences to the Rochotte family, the French ultrarunning community and the FFA on this very difficult news.
