As we alternate, between the 24 Hour and 100km World Championships, we will have continental championships. So if we have the 24 Hour World Championship in one year, we will have 100km continental championships, in our respective areas the same year (and vice versa).
This will allow the athletes to maintain their form in non-world championship year and also allow our continental LOCs to prepare for a future world championship bid.
