The process replicates our process from 2013. This time for every nominee on the short list extended to our voting panel we will include a list of all IAU labelled events for them.
Athletes, currently not on the automatic short list, can be nominated on our website (Athletes: Athletes of the Year). Please use the voting form listed at the very bottom of the page.

Important Timelines
December 18th 2013 Nominations will be opened through our website for available spots: A list of the automatic nominees will be available on the website by end of September.
December 30th 2013 Nominations will stop online and the list will be evaluated by the Executive Council.
January 2nd 2014: A list of nominated athletes, who made the cut, will be forwarded to the IAU Executive Council and IAU Member Federations.
January 16th 2014: Voting stops from the Executive Council and Member Federations.
January 21st 2014: IAU Executive Council will confirm the ATY.
