2018 IAU Asia& Oceania 24H Championship pre-pace report. 2018 IAU Asia& Oceania 24H Championship will be held at Taipei, Taiwan on December 1 st – 2 nd . The LOC is Soochow University who hosts the prestigious Soochow 24h race. This will be the 18th edition of Soochow 24H race in conjunction with continental championship race. 2020 IAU 24 Hour European Championship announcement.[EDITED] - proposed date changed. We are very pleased to announce that the 2020 IAU 24H European Championships was granted to San Giovanni Lupatoto, Verona, Italy. The proposed date for the Championships is 19th – 20th September 2020.

Election for IAU Americas Area Representative – second round. At the deadline for casting votes for the IAU Area Representative for the Americas, we had only received five votes. This was insufficient to elect an Area Representative on the first round. Therefore, according to Article 13.10 of our constitution, the first vote for any election requires an absolute majority. In this case, an absolute majority would be seven as there are 13 IAU Federations in the Americas and all are available for an electronic election. A second vote amongst all the candidates is therefore required and a candidate will be elected if they get a simple majority on that occasion. If two candidates tie then Article 13.11 comes into force and we will require third round. Election for IAU Americas Area Representative � second round

Press conference in Brasov for 2019 IAU 50 km World Championship and informal discussion in Timisoara before S24H race. It was a busy weekend in Romania. Nadeem Khan, the President of IAU participated in two events in Romania. First on September 21st as speaker during an informal discussion before S24H race in Timisoara and on the following day, September 22nd, he took part of the press conference in Brasov. 2 events in Romania

Press conference in Brasov for 2019 IAU 50 km World Championship and informal discussion in Timisoara before S24H race. It was a busy weekend in Romania. Nadeem Khan, the President of IAU participated in two events in Romania. First on September 21st as speaker during an informal discussion before S24H race in Timisoara and on the following day, September 22nd, he took part of the press conference in Brasov.
