Passionate and accomplished ultrarunner with nearly three decades of experience competing, coaching, and promoting the sport at both national and international levels. I bring proven leadership, governance expertise, and a strategic vision shaped by years of representing Ireland and supporting athlete development. My mission is to promote inclusivity, athlete welfare, and the global growth of ultrarunning.

Athletic Achievements

• Represented Ireland internationally in ultrarunning on 10 occasions
• Irish National Champion in the 24-hour race (3 times)
• Competed at World and European Championships in 100K, ultra-trail, and 24-hour events
• Completed ultramarathons on all seven continents, including the North Pole, Antarctica, and Sahara Desert
• Finished some of the world’s most extreme endurance events, demonstrating resilience and adaptability
• Served as team captain and manager for the Irish national ultrarunning team

Leadership & Governance Experience

• Member, IAU Communications Committee – contributing to global outreach and athlete engagement
• Advisory Panel Member, Athletics Ireland Ultra Running Committee – supporting athlete development, team selection, and race strategy
