New 100 km World Record ratified by IAAF
New 100 km World Record ratified by IAAF. On September 14th, IAAF ratified the men 100 km World Record 6:09:14 achieved by Nao Kazami (JPN) in Kitami City on 24 June 2018. The previous record 6:13:33 was set by Takahiro Sunada (JPN) on June 21st, 1998 during the same race. The record sustained for 20 years.

Press conference at 2018 IAU 24H European Championship. Early morning at 10 am (local time) at Timisoara Hotel the press conference for the 2018 IAU 24H European Championship took place. We had a pleasure to interview 6 athletes from different countries.

Following discussion that took place during the 2018 IAU Congress on September 7th in Croatia it was confirmed that significant work to secure the 2019 IAU 24H World Championship was done. There are still several aspects to be confirmed so we are not in position to communicate time and place for the potential event host.
