2019 IAU Trail World Championship – Team Manual. On June 8th 2019 the IAU Trail World Championship will take place in Mirandha do Corvo, Portugal. All the IAU Member Federations have received the Team Manual for the World Championships.

2019 IAU 100 km Asia and Oceania Championship announcement. We are very pleased to announce that the 2019 IAU 100 km Asia and Oceania Championships was granted to Aqaba, Jordan. The Championships will take place on 22nd or 23rd November 2019 (final date to be confirmed).

2019 IAU 24 Hour World Championship GIS. The 2019 IAU 24H World Championships will take place on 26th – 27th October in Albi, France. We would like to use this opportunity and share with you the General Information Sheet together will information about hotels (map) and race course. Please note that the course will be finally measured in May.

Hungarian Ultrarunning 6H Championship. The Hungarian 6H Championship was held in Szekszárd on 10th March 2019. This IAU Bronze Labelled Race also included an open race (6H) and 50 km as well. In the Womens Race Bleier-Cseke Lilla was a convincing winner with a distance of 77.059 km and the Men’s Race was won by Halama Levente with a distance of 81.145 km. The open race provided good competition with a fantastic performance by Gábor Muhari covering a distance of 86.485 km and the leading female in the open race Krisztina Ruscsák achieved a distance of 78.909 km. The 50 km race was won by Zsófia Malatinszky Zsófia with time 3:34:13

Election for IAU Americas Area Representative � second round
Election for IAU Americas Area Representative – second round. At the deadline for casting votes for the IAU Area Representative for the Americas, we had only received five votes. This was insufficient to elect an Area Representative on the first round. Therefore, according to Article 13.10 of our constitution, the first vote for any election requires an absolute majority. In this case, an absolute majority would be seven as there are 13 IAU Federations in the Americas and all are available for an electronic election. A second vote amongst all the candidates is therefore required and a candidate will be elected if they get a simple majority on that occasion. If two candidates tie then Article 13.11 comes into force and we will require third round.
