Yamauchi and Bull win the 29th IAU 100km wolrd Championships. The 29th IAU 100km World Championships took place in Los Alcazares, Spain on Nov 27th 2016. There were 187 runners representing 37 countries in the race that went around a 10km loop along the Mediterranean Sea.

2021 IAU 24 hours World Championship postponed to October
The 2021 IAU 24 hours World Championship originally scheduled for May 22nd – 23rd has been postponed to October 2nd – 3rd by joint agreement with the LOC.
Post race 24hour World Champs 2017
Ishikawa and Bereznowska win at the 12th IAU 24 Hour World Championships.The 12th IAU 24 Hour World Championships took place on July 1-2 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Yoshihiko Ishikawa (JPN) and Patrycja Bereznowska (POL) won the individual titles with distances of 267.566km and 258.339km respectively. Bereznowska´s distance is a World´s Best Performance pending ratification. Japan won the men´s team title and United States of America won the women´s team title.
IAU Technical Education completed for 2019
IAU Technical Education completed for 2019. One of our main objectives is to promote and develop long distance running worldwide by encouraging specific activities in each of the World Athletics Continental Areas. At the same time IAU is trying to give back to our ultra-running community as much as possible. This is why the IAU Technical Committee completed set of IAU Technical Education.
First IAU 6H Balkan Challenge
First IAU 6H Balkan Challenge On the 23rd May 2020 the City of Timisoara in Romania will host the first IAU 6H Balkan Challenge incorporated into the S24H on the same weekend. During that weekend there will be 6H, 12H and 24H open race as well.
