2018 IAU Trail World Championship - update

2018 IAU Trail World Championship - competitor list update. We are sharing with you updated Competitor list for the 2018 IAU Trail World Championships. We included Venezuela Team in the list. There are 50 national teams, 213 men and 142 women, in addition about 136 officials and supporters taking part of the event.

2018 IAU Trail World Championship - participantsWe are getting closer to our first competition this year the IAU Trail World Championships. On May 12th 2018 the National Teams from around the World will gather together in Penyagolosa in Spain to take part of this event. We are happy to share with you the full Competitor list for the 49 countries entering the Trail World Championships. There are 209 men and 142 women, in addition about 136 officials and supporters.

The Winner of the 2017 IAU Athlete of the Year

The Winner of the 2017 IAU Athlete of the Year. The Winners of the 2017 IAU Athlete of the Year have been announced. Patrycja Bereznowska (POL) and Yoshihiko Ishikawa (JPN) have been voted as the 2017 IAU Athlete of the Year. Both Winners received around 45% of all votes. Patrycja won convincingly. It was a bit closer in men votes but still very strong position of Yoshihiko. The runners up in women standing are Camille Herron (USA) and Adeline Roche (FRA) and in men Luis Alberto Hernando (ESP) and Sebastian Białobrzeski (POL).

2020 IAU 24 Hour Americas Championship cancelled. Following the development of the coronavirus situation in Argentina, it is with regret that we have to inform you that the 2020 IAU 24H Americas Championship in Termas de Río Hondo is cancelled.

30 IAU 100 km WC post race report

30th IAU 100 km World Championship - post race report Nikolina Sustic (CRO) in 7:20:34 and Hideaki Yamauchi (JPN) in 6:28:05 took home the gold running the 100km in Croatia. For Nikolina it was a home win and for Hideaki second gold in a row after winning in 2016 in Spain.
