Meeting with Finnish Ultrarunning Federation
On February 15th, 2021 IAU (Hilary Walker, Robert Boyce and Nadeem Khan) had a meeting with the Finnish Ultrarunning Federation (FUF) represented by Noora Honkala, Jari Tomppo and Fredrik Olaussen.

IAU Trail Championships
5th IAU Trail World Championships - at the finish! These currently are provisional results:- The first male finishers. France with Sylvain Court and Patrick Bringer took the Gold and Bronze medals with Lui Alberto-Hernando from Spain breaking the French stranglehold in silver. France have taken the Team Gold. The three medallists for the Ladies race have also now finished with France taking First and second - Nathalie Mauclair and Caroline Chaverot. Maite Mayora of Spain was in bronze position.
The first 6h Nordic Challenge
The first 6h Nordic Challenge: The first 6h Nordic Challenge will be held in Kokkola on May 18th 2019. This is new IAU inspired race where ultrarunners from the Nordic countries can compete for the IAU Nordic Challenge trophy.
First IAU 6H Balkan Challenge
First IAU 6H Balkan Challenge On the 23rd May 2020 the City of Timisoara in Romania will host the first IAU 6H Balkan Challenge incorporated into the S24H on the same weekend. During that weekend there will be 6H, 12H and 24H open race as well.

The 2nd 6 Hour Nordic Challenge to be promoted in the heart of Copenhagen on the 18th April 2020. The concept of an ultra regional challenge is a new initiative led by the IAU.
