IAU Athletes Commission. The IAU is delighted to announce that they have formed an Athletes Commission to meet the needs of its members.This Commission is a forward thinking and advisory body that acts as an advocate for all athletes’ of the National Federations that are affiliated to the IAU. It deals, among other things, with all issues raised by athletes and liaises as and when deemed necessary with the IAU Council.

First IAU 6H Balkan Challenge On the 23rd May 2020 the City of Timisoara in Romania will host the first IAU 6H Balkan Challenge incorporated into the S24H on the same weekend. During that weekend there will be 6H, 12H and 24H open race as well.

Jan Vandendriessche retires from the IAU Executive Council We would like to inform you that after more than 16 years of service for IAU Jan Vandendriessche decided to retire from his position as IAU director due to personal reasons. His decision will be effective as of November 1st 2020.
IAU Nordic Challenge Trophy
IAU Nordic Challenge Trophy. Only 3 weeks remain before the inaugural IAU Nordic Challenge. Those from the Nordic Countries will compete for the IAU Nordic Challenge Trophy, which will be held within the 6hrs Kokkola Ultra Run, an IAU Bronze labelled event, on May 18th 2019.
