The 50KM World Championships took place on September 1, 2019 in the Braşov city in Romania and was organized by the IAU, together with the Romanian Athletics Federation, with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sport, the City Hall of Brașov, the Prefecture of Braşov and the Brașov County Council.

IAU 100 km Americas Championship - competition weekend. We are finally starting the weekend with continental championship in Brazil. It all started with Team getting ready for Saturday event, technical meeting and most important on Friday evening the Team presentation during national flags parade.

2nd IAU 100 km Americas Championship pre-race report

On July 27th the 2nd IAU 100 km Americas Championships will take place on the coast of Bertioga in Sao Paulo, Brazil. South America has never held an international ultra-distance championship so there is great excitement in the area.

2018 IAU Career Awards

2018 IAU Career Awards The IAU Career award has been established since 2014 to recognize for tireless ultrarunning enthusiasts who have worked long and hard to increase the profile of national and international ultrarunning. This prestigious honour recognizes the hard work and dedication in developing and promoting the sport over the years. We are committed to honouring the individuals who have paved the way of the sport for the future. It is our great pleasure to announce that we awarded two individuals with the IAU Career Award. The Award went to Donald Alexander Ritchie [GBR] (passed away in June 2018) and Jürgen Schoch [GER]. The awards will be presented at the earliest convenience.

2018 IAU Asia& Oceania 24H Championship - race report

2018 IAU 24H Asia & Oceania Championship race reportJapan dominated 2018 IAU 24 hour Asia & Oceania Championship. Yuri Matsumoto (219.112 km) and Yoshihiko Ishikawa (253.420 km) both from Japan took home gold medals in individual competition. They lead both teams for double gold medals at Team competition with Women aggregated result of 620.181 km and Men 752.474 km. This was fantastic event.

IAU Asia & Oceania 24 hour Championships. It is our great pleasure to announce that IAU Asia & Oceania 24 Hour Championships will take place on December 1st 2018. The 18th edition of the Soochow International 24 Hours race will be the host of the championship.
