• Former runner: mostly crosscountry (winner of the European cc in youth) but retired very early after a serious car accident.
• Trainer since 1992, from 800mtr till ultras and took multiple follow-up courses
• Coach of the Belgian ultrarunningteam 2006-2024 in Madrid, Seoul, Torino, Albi, Belfast, Steenbergen, Doha, Timisoara, Berlin, etc
• International road race measurer grade B
• Timer (with professional equiment)
• Photographer of ultraraces, see link, where you can find thousands of photos of ultrarun championships
• Race-director of the legendary Night of Flanders Torhout in Belgium (2005-2022)
• Organiser-Race-director EC 100km in 2006
• Organiser-Race-director WC 100km in 2009

I was the first organiser ever, worldwide, who put the names of the runners on their bibnumbers, back in 1999, in my "In Flanders Fields marathon". London marathon followed suit in 2003, as did many others.
