2018 IAU 24H European Championship

It is our great pleasure to share with you that the IAU Council accepted the bid from Timisoara, Romania for the IAU 24 Hour European Championships. The race will take place on May 26-27, 2018.

2018 IAU 100K World Championships - site visit
The site visit to Sveti Martin, Croatia the host of the IAU 100 km World Championships (September 2018) took place on the last days of November. Paco Rico, Technical Delegate for the event and Nadeem Khan, IAU Vice President were there for a two-day visit. > more

The International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU) is operating under the patronage of the IAAF and is dedicated to develop ultradistance running internationally within the IAAF Rules & Regulations.

As international governing body for ultradistance running, one of our main objectives is to promote and develop long distance running worldwide by encouraging specific activities in each of the IAAF Continental Areas.

Competitions
The 100 km is our “flagship” since the IAAF officially sanctions this distance and also ratifies 100 km world records.
