Madison will host the first IAU Americas Championships.

During their annual meeting in Monaco, the IAU Executive Council agreed that the 11th MAD CITY 100K, Inc. (Madison, WI, USA) will be the venue for the first IAU 100K Americas Championships 2017.
On April 8th, race director Tim Yanacheck and his team will welcome all participants for this historical race. Invitations have just been sent to American IAU Federations and the GIS is attached here.
The race will consist of 10 laps of a 10K loop. The loop is Madison´s most popular 10K race course, which takes runners along the shore of Lake Wingra, through scenic neighborhoods, and through the University of Wisconsin Arboretum.
