2018 IAU Career Awards The IAU Career award has been established since 2014 to recognize for tireless ultrarunning enthusiasts who have worked long and hard to increase the profile of national and international ultrarunning. This prestigious honour recognizes the hard work and dedication in developing and promoting the sport over the years. We are committed to honouring the individuals who have paved the way of the sport for the future. It is our great pleasure to announce that we awarded two individuals with the IAU Career Award. The Award went to Donald Alexander Ritchie [GBR] (passed away in June 2018) and Jürgen Schoch [GER]. The awards will be presented at the earliest convenience.

2020 IAU 50 km World Championships announcement. We are very pleased to announce that the 2020 IAU 50 km World Championship was granted to Aqaba, Jordan. The Championships will take place on 27th November 2020 (Friday).
30 IAU 100 km WC post race report
30th IAU 100 km World Championship - post race report Nikolina Sustic (CRO) in 7:20:34 and Hideaki Yamauchi (JPN) in 6:28:05 took home the gold running the 100km in Croatia. For Nikolina it was a home win and for Hideaki second gold in a row after winning in 2016 in Spain.

2019 IAU 24 Hour World Championship announcement.We are very pleased to announce that the 2019 IAU 24H World Championships was granted to Albi, France. The Championships will take place on 26th – 27th October 2019.
